| Saw the dahlia tubers at Costco yesterday. Nothing remarkable to me but others may be interested. One was Wittemans Superba a red semi cactus flower in BB(6 inches or less) size.
It is a nice dahlia but the tubers do not keep well. It should be noted that they sell small undivided clumps rather than tubers. It's a Dutch thing; something about it being against the law to divide plant clumps and sell them. |

| And we've seen packaged tubers here in the Jewel grocery store. A bit early for zone 5 don't ya think? Unless you are going to plant them in your basement like we do. We've probably got 50 planted and will have several hundred plants from those. Watch our progress at www.ohwhata.com |
