Cuttings with Small Tubers?

Posted by wdw.addict (My Page) on

I have some thumb size or smaller tubers, are they good candidates for cuttings? Or better to use larger tubers? I plan to make at most 3 cuttings per tuber. Thanks.

RE: Cuttings with Small Tubers?

Smaller tubers can send up sprouts for cutting. How small is the question. If it is as big as man's thumb it should be big enough for well over 3 cuttings. If about the size of man's pinkie, it is getting pretty small and perhaps only 1 or 2.
