Dahlia 'David Howard'

Can anyone help me locate some tubers of 'David Howard'?

I had 'David Howard' in my previous garden but failed to take any tubers when I moved. Now I'm having no luck in finding a supplier that carries it. I'm really bummed as this is my all-time favorite dahlia.

Any and all help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Here you go: Google.com type in "Dahlia David Howard" or dahlia whatever and you'd be amazed what turns up. Very simple. I love the foliage on that one by the way, and the description "a real screamer!"

You might be able to find it cheaper; this was the first link I clicked on below.

Furthermore, I bet the cultivar is named after this gent. Sadly, an untimely demise for him. They delayed his funeral because of a big dahlia show going on at the same time- what an honor.

Did you have some connection with the person,Moschata, or just like the flower?

I found 'David Howard' at Dan's Dahlias. They're $5 a tuber. Ships in the spring. I don't know if you ever found them last year...
