| I bought dahlia bulbs last spring at Home Depot.... then never got around to planting them. They have sat around in my cool (45 - 60 degree) garage since then. I tried putting them in soil with worm castings on top about two weeks ago, and I still have no growth. Do I give up on these? |

| Were they dried up, shriveled little mummies? A year is a long time to sit and stay viable, but it won't hurt anything to wait another couple weeks and then give up if nothing grows. |
