Hi,
I live in zone 6/CT and just purchased some tubers. The nights here are still in the 30's. I'm not worried about frost because I have an unheated hoop house...it gets very warm in there during the day...but drops right back to the 30's when the sun goes down. Is it too cold to start them out there?? I could start them in my basement if I need to, but I am running out of room there. How cold is too cold?? Thanks,
Linda

Freezing is too cold to me. Warm days should allow them to fare well. Drag them inside or under cover if you think your hoophouse will freeze at night.
