Hi,

It has been in the 70's herre in CO (Lakewood) for weeks. The tubers are bursting out of their bags. Everyone says it is too early to plant? I don't want them to rot.? Advice please

You know more than me PDSHOP. I have had some in the ground for over a week. The ones that are baried below ground level in their pots are fine. The ones in pots not barried shows signs of damage from the weather. So my advice is to hold out till were sure the weather will hold. Good to see you on the dahlia boards again. Hope to here from Sturgenguy.

There were a few others that were regulars? Where have they gone? The dahlias are in. I have a skunk. When I check in the mornings there is usually a tuber laying by it's hole. Not eaten? I think the skunk is smelling the bone meal?

I have some where between 60 and 70 in the ground. No skunk, Sam would try and eat it.

A skunk got some of my bone meal because I also found tubers dug up.
