Interest in Dahlia Society for Triad/Raleigh/Coastal

Hi,
I am putting out feelers for interest in possibly starting a society or group for Dahlia growers/lovers/interested folks in the Triad/Raleigh/Coastal area of NC. We would work to be associated with the American Dahlia Society and have yearly meetings and events in varying locations.

There is a Carolinas Society that is based in Western NC but may be difficult for people in other parts of the state to participate.

I also thought we could approach some parks to create a trial and exhibit dahlia garden.
