As life would have it

Beginning the first week of Arpil until this week I had a undiagnosed progressive viral and bacteria infection.

Needless to say I am WAY behind in planting everything.

The weather has been buckets of rain, then frost, but now it is rocket temps, the same pattern as last year.

The Dahlia tubers I was able to divide and clean up all but 3 or 4 clumps prior to getting ill and they have robust sprouts on them.

Now with high temperatures and high shoots do I plant the shoots above the ground or bury them? I wouldn't want to have them get fried now that they are going from the basement to outdoors.

Thanks!
