| Just when I am ready to start planting my dahlias, and giving my other tropical plants their summer home, I checked the weather, and once again they are calling for it to get cold this weekend. ... down to 2C with a clear sky. I guess we know what that means ..... and it starts with F ! |

| We had huge hailstones just now! The lawn was white - so weird! Luckily I had covered up my dahlias which are still starting out in pots - they seem to be slow this year, and tonight another bl***y f-warning! |

| F is for Fooey! Hope you protected the crop as well as Anna. Not much you can do for hail, but hope it misses major damaging blows. I hope you Canadian neighbors warm up soon enough. We had to wait a couple weeks, but this has been the nicest May for planting dahlias in memory. I've already had to water which is unprecedented in my location. Back out to do more of such... |

| Your a lady poochella F stands for something else where I live. We have not had enough sun on this island to see anything grow. I am not even close to getting all my dahlias planted. |

| It is raining today so I was thinking of you jroot. There is nothing more depressing than to have the drabness go on and on and on. There is so much work to be done this time of year. Now I live in MA. so we needed the rain, but I hope you have finally got some good weather. What do all the people in your area do with the high rental fees, when it rains. Not good |

| Weather has been ok today in Southern Ontario... I can't wait to have more like it! I hope we are at the end of this cold spell! although I have had may dahlias out for weeks now and they are holding their own, the are not growing at all!! |
