 o
plants vs tubers

After I had just planted 63 tubers I wondered if the 15 plants I am going to receive will be the same size in growth as the tuber? I need to know as if they are smaller when mature, I have to put some of the tubers in with the plants to make things look the same. I was leaving two beds for the plants by themselves but thought I should find out first.

I am not qulified to answer your question. I have another way to solve your problem. If size is the problem pots solve that. You can put them on stands or stools and paint them any color. The stands and pots not your dahlias.

RE: plants vs tubers

The size that the plants end up will depend on the individual dahlia itself. Look up what you ordered & see how big the plant should end up. Plants grown from cuttings-- which I assume is what you ordered-- will grow to be the same size as plants grown from tubers & a lot of the time the plant from cuttings will grow faster, be bushier & bloom sooner than the tuber grown ones.
