I can't believe it actually worked!

Ok. I'm not one to go and take cuttings to root them. I don't have the space or the patience. But, maybe a week and a half ago I noticed that one of the tubers I had potted up awhile ago that had done quite well at growing actually had two little bushy shoots and not one. So I pinched off the smaller of the two with my fingers like i normally do. This time though, since I had the space b/c all of my other plants were already outside, I filled a little plastic cup with potting soil and stuck the little part I broke off if burying the bottom set of leaves. So I go and look at it now and I can see little roots! I can't believe it it actually worked! I'm so pleased with myself! I showed my husband and he said, "Well, wasn't that what was supposed to happen?" I said yes but I didn't think it would be that easy. So I thought I'd share my success here!

Thanks for listening!
