Now you've done it!

Twenty five years ago I fell in love with Dahlias and grew them until 2000 when I had back issues and couldn't take them out of the ground that fall. Fast forward to two years ago when someone came to our garden club meeting with a box of tubers and I decided to try a couple.

Since then I have been doing some reading on this forum and re-educating myself, but I've discovered that growing Dahlias is like riding a bicycle. For two years I've kept to the two Dahlias which I acquired at that garden club meeting, but things are changing...

Thanks to JRoot's wonderful instructions and ceh2101 advising me I have a wonderful Dahlia supplier in my midst (Sid's Dahlias in Nova Scotia)and everyone's help, I will be planting 7 more different Dahlias this year from Sid's. This may not seem like a big number to you but I am very excited about doing some serious Dahlia gardening again and if the lower back holds out this year, I will be saving money to go to Sid's again next year.

Looking forward to beautiful blooms and blaming it all on you folks!!! :O)

RE: Now you've done it!

I'd blame Sid and your past success with dahlias, not the posters here! I hope for your sake that your back holds out long and well enough to enjoy your new dahlias and many more to come.
