| Some critter dug up a 8 inch Dahlia sprout and tuber. I replanted it as soon as possible and watered it in. Will it continue to grow? What's going to happen?
Thanks, Sue |

| Hi Sue: Hopefully it'll rebound for you. Give it a week and let us know how it's doing. DB |

| I've dug up 8 inch sprouted tubers, forgot them overnight, and they've been replanted just fine. Hope you have the same luck. What I want to know is what kind of critter did the digging? |
|
| I routinely have 6-8 inch deep holes adjacent to some of my dahlia plants(I have raised beds) each morning. I suspect it's the local rabbits. Any ideas? DB |

| Morning, Haven't been back for awhile. Dahlia plant is slowly doing better and now getting taller but it is quite a bit behind the other dahlias in the bed. I don't know what critter dug it up but could be rabbit, chippey or deer. Usually the deer leave all the dahlia's alone. I'll have to check which dahlia it was. Will go out and do that now. It's "Micks Peppermint" SC RW A. One that I ordered new for this year. It is so far behind the other dahlias growing in the dahlia bed. Oh, well, will wait and see how it grows.. Later, |
