| I'm not sure just what zone I am in, how do I find out?
I have been reading on the web that you do not need to dig up your Dahlia bulbs in the fall. Is this true? I have always dug them up in the fall and put them in pails with sawdust and stored them in the basement til spring. I then take them out and wet the sawdust and wait for them to sprout before I put them back in the ground. |

| There are various hardiness zone maps out there. The link below is to one. You are definitely in the have-to-dig zone in Vermont and have done the right thing by digging and storing each year. |
