Spectacular!

you are so into Dahlias that you also have to use pots! - Or is there a reason for Pot growing dahlias, as opposed to in the ground?

I MUST have three or 4 of your varieties. are you willing to trade ?

I love the

  1. Gimped Petaled Wheels
  2. Gloriosas
  3. Kenora Wow
  4. Very Berry

I have Brugmansia, Datura, Dahlias (not sure the varieties) Colocasia (elephant ears)large bulbs,
some exotic vine plants and seed, and cash :)
If you will not trade, Please let me know where to get them for next year!

Cheers, Barry

I love them all, but the color on Kenora Wow really stands out to me. Wow is right! Beautiful!

Barry:
I use pots because I ran out of space in my raised beds.
Contact me next Spring for those varieties you're interested in.

RE: First Dahlia Photos Of The Season

Just once I wish I could bring myself to say "Get those hideous photos off my internet" as a joke. But my humor is foiled again because they're all just stunningly gorgeous.

I am bowled over by the colors of Kenora Wow even though I've seen it in person, your photo is tops. So is Wheels, even with a gimped petal.

DB: who are the larger, paler yellow ball blooms along the fence and again about halfway down the fenceline to the right; and the lavender pompon to the far left in the second photo of "some of the dahlia section of my yard?"

Hi Dahliaboy-

I agree with Bill about the Kenora, Very Berry and Gimped Petaled Wheels. Never knew there were dahlias like the two latter ones. Thank you so much!

DB, they are divine...

Are your Zorro blooms actually a little bit darker than what appears on the picture at all?? I'm still waiting for my Zorro to bloom cuz I planted it late, so just curious.

 o
RE: First Dahlia Photos Of The Season

linht......yes, my Zorros are darker....the flash may have gone off when I took the photo causing them to look lighter. I've cut one off the bush and put it in a vase
It measures 10 inches across, just like the other two.
I'm only growing 3 up at a time to get them large.
