Wow, everyone's blooms here look great! Hope you're all having a successful season so far. This is my first year growing the cactus, semi-cactus and laciniated types. A few of my new favorites just bloomed.
I've waited all winter and all spring to see Xenon in person. Lost one tuber to rot the week it rained 5 days in a row. This is the lonely one remaining.

I ordered a tuber and a cutting of Hollyhill Dark Victory. Ended up get 3 cuttings. One supplier ended up having just cuttings of it and the other supplier mistakenly gave me another Dark Victory instead of Electra. I LOVE this though!

Pink Jupiter is suppose to be a size A but mine have looked more like Pink Pluto. The blooms turned out to be more of a size B. Will have to try this again with a tuber next year as this was from a cutting.

They look wonderful. I used the wood tags with a marker and the names of the tubers washed off. I have no idea what I have. Will up load some later for ID. We have just had days of heavy rain with flooding etc. The soil is like soup. I wonder if I should fertilize again?

Thanks, Pd. If your soil is like soup I guess I'd wait on the fertilizer till some of the moisture drained. I'd be more worried about whether the tubers are rotting if you planted them 6 inches deep.
