Glad you're enjoying your dahlias. Your plants should bloom until the frost. I would leave your non blooming one where it is probably. Moving it now will set it back. But if you think it won't bloom anyway than moving it won't really do any harm. If your ground freezes in winter you will have to dig them up and save the tubers to plant next spring.

Thanks! I think I may move it it not doing anything where is is... and thnaks for the tip about digging it up for the winter. What do I do with the "tuber" for the winter? do I keep it moist?

Do a forum search for digging/dividing/storing for tips on what to do. Or just check back in the fall when we're all looking for tips.

Don't forget to dead-head to keep it blooming- if you don't it'll stop. If you do it'll bloom until frost.

Now that I look at it again it looks more like Pinelands Princess! So hard to tell from a picture when there's so many that look alike.
