| In May, I bought my wife a hugh pot of pink dahlias at Lowe's that were sold as annuals. they bloomed perfectly all summer as I dead-headed them but them the leaves started turning yellow and I couldn't get them to liven up. So, I repotted them into 4 separate pots and noticed that there were some big tubers under each plant. Since I've repotted them, they are still dying. Does this mean that I should stop watering and let them die and store the tubers till next spring? If so, how do I store them so that I can replant them in the spring? Thanks for any & all advice.
