Hello,

We have a dahlia in our display gardens here that has been exceptionally hardy and free blooming. We received it as D. 'Bishop's Children', but being that its a strain, I assumed that it was grown of from seed and is, therefore, an unamed clone.

Going through photos online, I noticed a selection called 'Bishop of York' that looks very similar, if not identical, to the one we have.

I was hoping to distribute this dahlia in the hopes of introducing it and naming it after the donors of our garden, but I want to be sure that it is brand new and not already a named selection.
