| Just wanted to share some recent photos of a few of my dahlias this year...
waterlily Christine
Dahlia Hawaii never gives consistent looking blooms. Sometimes it's all three colors, other times just white/raspberry.
Kelvin Floodlight's blooms are always bountiful but cramped.
JB is too tall for close-ups this month. My camera is crappy and I'm short. All the reachable ones I've made bouquets with already.
Garden Wonder is always a happy bloomer at any size/height.
Just cut off the first Thomas Edison bloom. This is the 2nd one starting to open. I would recommend TE to anyone. The 6 - 8 inches of electrifying purple won't disappoint you!
Mrs. Eileen is strange. Some blooms look fresh and others not so much, even though they bloomed at the same time.
Fleural was the last to start blooming. I hope it's as big as Kelvin.
One of my cheapy Home Depot mini collarettes.

| Great photos! I'm growing Kelvin Floodlight for the first time this year. I'm only growing 4 up at a time so they are true to size and don't get too squashed together. DB |

| Thanks all! DB, I think I'll have to start disbudding... |

| I'm growing Thomas Edison this year too for the first time. Can't wait to see the blooms. I planted it in huge containers with White Perfection and Otto's Thrill. Should be big! |
|
| Wow alyrics, you're planting Thomas Edison in a pot? How big is the pot(diameter wise)? I have a friend who wants to grow T.E. in a pot also but we don't know how big of a pot it has to be. Also, please let me know if it's thriving well in the pot. Any info would be most helpful... Tracy |
