| Just a reminder that this weekend the Portland Dahlia Society will be hosting it's annual show at the fairgrounds in Canby. This is a great opportunity to see all the show dahlias, then visit Swan Island dahlias, which is only a mile or so away. The show will be held from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday and 10 am to 3 pm on Sunday.
Something new we will have at the show this year is a table where you can bring your dahlias you don't have a name for. There will be a form provided for each dahlia that other growers can write what they think the name of the dahlia is. You can either pick up the forms at the end of the show, or they will be mailed to you. Each dahlia must be in an individual container, and you if you want the container back, you must pick it up by 3 pm on Sunday. They do not have to be put in foam or have any leaves.
