AAID: 11" diameter flowers on a 54" bush.

Papageno Blooms
AAID: 10" diameter flower on a 42" bush.

Vase 8-8-08
From top to bottom, left to right:
Gladiator - AAID: 12" diamter flower on a 60" bush.
Crichton Honey - BBBA: 4" diameter flower on a 30" bush.
China Doll - BBWL: 4" diameter flower on an 18" bush.
Sayonara - MID: 3" diameter flower on a 30" bush.
Tahiti Sunrise - BBC: 5" diameter flower on a 30" bush.
Bitsy - BBWL: 4" diameter flower on an 18" bush.
Sandia Joy - BBWL: 4" diameter flower on a 24" bush.

Note my cool digital binoculars to the right of the vase...records digital pics or movies seen through them...;-]

Fabulous pics, Russ. Your cuttings are getting tall! Papageno is beautiful. You should've seen my Papageno last year, UGH, it was awful.

Funny, height is what is missing the most. I'm so glad I have blooms given how short things are.

Really nice, are those your fovrite colors? Love the vase shot. It is hard to get a good b
*unch shot in the garden. But in the vase you can put things togeather and make them better than the sum of the parts.

I'd love to say the vase was a "creation" but really it was simply a matter of trying to get one of each of my Dahlias that are well into blooming into the vase at the same time so you could see them...;-]

Remember, I'm the engineer, not an artist...;-]

Stunning! Gladiator, I'd wager, has those very rich colors and velvety petals that are nearly impossible to capture no matter what camera gadgets one possesses. Enjoy them all!
