Never planted in spring...

I have a bag of dahlia tubers that I didn't get around to planting this spring. They have sat in the gararge in their original packaging all summer. Will they be OK to plant next spring or should I just toss them out ? I wasn't sure if the warmth in the garage would have ruined them since they were unplanted.

Plant them now... and bring them back in the fall.

plant them right away, even though by now they are likely goners from the heat. but it does not hurt to try!
