Dahlia Seeds

I received some Dahlia seeds last Fall from the Wintersowing site. I was successful and grew some beautiful Dahlias from the seed. I need information regarding where I will find the seed on the Dahlia plant. I would love to harvest them to wintersow again this Winter.

Plantlady is busy with the National Dahlia Show, I'm sure, but I'll direct you to their very informative slide show on seed harvesting. How they get any dry seed pods in western WA is beyond me, unless they harvest early.

Good luck with your seed hunt and planting.

Here is a link that might be useful: Wynne's from seed to dahlia

Thank you very much for the link Poochella. Very good information there - I'll give it a try!
