A friend is growing several plants of this dahlia, and she will be sharing tubers next year. 
Unfortunately, she doesn't know the name of the cultivar. Does anyone recognize it? Thanks!

| Hi, I'm wondering if it could be either: I was comparing the pics and its difficult to tell unless you can actually see the dahlias.....so have a look at these names and see if they fit. The two names I mentioned are Informal Decrative dahlias. Sierra ;-) |

| I purchased this dahlia this past spring at a local box store, and it was marked as Mystery. It is a truly beautiful flower. I have a vase of them on my table right now. |

| Hi! Since I have them I agree it does look like Mystery Day. But because of the first photo and that if it might be more reddish in color, could it possibly be Contraste? |

| The red in the photo might be due to the light. When I saw the flowers, I was struck by how purple they were, so I'm pretty confident that they're 'Mystery Day'. Thanks for all your help!! |
