| My raised beds were completed rather late last year and I grabbed a big box store 50% off bag of "Mixed" semi shriveled tubers to fill in some empty spots. Little did I know what it would lead me to.
This is the plant that got me started and it will always have a fond place in my heart. It is vigorous and sturdy with 8 in. blossoms that are at a 45 degree angle and last for a very long time when cut. It is a medium orange with a hint of lt. purple on the front of the petals and lt. purple on the back. I would really like to find what its name is.

| There are so many orange dahlias, I would have to guess Mrs. Eileen. |
