| Hello I have a bunch of dahlia bulbs I planted that never came up this summer (I think the spot was too shady). I'd like to try again with these bulbs next summer in a sunnier spot. I have read here that you should wait until later in the fall to dig up bulbs that have flowered, but what about in my case? Is there even a possibility they will bloom again, or are they a lost cause at this point? |

| If they did not grow at all, they are dead. If there is any green growth at all, they can be dug and stored whole in a plastic bag or preferably a gallon sized pot with some soil. Do not attempt to divide them. You would probably be better advised to just buy new tubers next year. |
