Does anyone know of a Dahlia that is close to blue in color? I thought I saw one in someone's pictures awhile back. Would appreciate it. Thanks

I have a lovely one that I bought from Dutch Gardens or Van Bourgondian this year. It is "Bluebeard". I have been really impressed with it. It is a mid purple with a real blue sheen to it, very prolific and healthy. THe flowers are a BB cactus, with long strong stems. Not only that but they sent lots of extra bits of tubers and every one of them rooted! This has been one of those Happy Surprises!

Thanks, I just tried the site you mentioned but their Dahlias are not listed yet. I will write it down for later. I did run into Blue Boy though. It was at the bloomingbulb.com

Try Wortons Blue Streak. When the weather cools down here it really gets blue, other wise a blueish purple.
