Makes all the Hard Work Worthwhile...

This is when we most enjoy the gardens- when a bus load of folks from the local Assisted Living places and/or Nursing Homes come out. This week we've had groups from 3 different homes & everyone went away with an armload of blooms to enjoy.

One of our criteria in breeeding is strong stems- if it doesn't hold it's head up & is a great bloom it gets 2 years & if it still doesn't hold its head up it's gone- if it's a so-so bloom it's yarded out immediately. The viagra didn't work on the dahlias >:) |
