Visiting Tacoma area and looking for things to do /visit

Hello fellow gardeners,

I am visiting my brother and his family (five kids from
6`14) and we would like to see some dahlias this weekend.
I know there are some growers out in the area as i
used to buy from Connels.

Could you recommend some places where we might go in the Tacoma area to see some dahlias...
Any thoughts on places to go would be appreciated very much!!

Why not visit the Dahlia Trial Garden at Pt. Defiance park?
66 varieties entered there.

Sorry I am not home or I would invite you to see my 150 varieties over on Vashon Island. I'm not a breeder though, just grow them to sell as cut flowers. I "second" the test Garden at Pt Defiance...I stop by frequently for my color fix!
