I have two Cornel plants growing under lights now. I found the tubers at the bottom of my indoor cage,greenhouse. The cats had knocked them down after I had given up on them comming to life. So plantlady yes we love dahlias.

I think it just proves Walt can grow anything anywhere- even if he doesn't mean to! Last year a whole flat of "eyeless" Wyn's Farmer John was discovered under the ping-pong table, in the dark basement, in June-- they had white sprouts about 4-6" long so he planted them out & they went on to win Best AA & Best Triple AA in a couple of shows. Farmer John is notorious for being a late starter but soon catches up & by-passes the early starters!

I have an ugly houseplant thriving outside right now. Still doesn't mean I like it though. But that tuber, wow! that's cool!
