There are dahlia clubs(societies) all over the USA. People who are members of clubs trade tubers quite often. Many clubs accept donated tubers for club tuber sales that finance club activities. Good way to meet people who like dahlias.

I would love to participate in a tuber exchange but I donÂt have many different varieties to offer, at least this year. I print and pay for shipping labels online at home so it is easy for me.

Does anyone know the best way to ship tubers? If I remember correctly any bulbs/tubers I have received in the mail came in perforated plastic with wood shavings. I imagine vermiculite would work. When you consider the cost of purchasing 5 or 6 different tubers and paying shipping an exchange is a great way to save money.
