How about a dahlia tuber exchange

When we dig up our dahlias, we have so many extra tubers and need to have homes for them. Unless this is a problem with virus, etc., then could we all contact the owners to have an exchange forum for dahlias?

| There are dahlia clubs(societies) all over the USA. People who are members of clubs trade tubers quite often. Many clubs accept donated tubers for club tuber sales that finance club activities. Good way to meet people who like dahlias. |

| I would love to participate in a tuber exchange but I don’t have many different varieties to offer, at least this year. I print and pay for shipping labels online at home so it is easy for me. Does anyone know the best way to ship tubers? If I remember correctly any bulbs/tubers I have received in the mail came in perforated plastic with wood shavings. I imagine vermiculite would work. When you consider the cost of purchasing 5 or 6 different tubers and paying shipping an exchange is a great way to save money. |

| Missy, click on someone's "My Page" on their name line. Then if they have a tradelist made, click on "See My Trade List." One can edit the trade list by being signed in and clicking on "My member Page." |

| You're welcome but I misspoke: to edit your own member page, sign in, click on the lower "Member Pages" link in the Garden Web band at bottom of any page. Sorry. |
