I bought some dahlias over the summer (July), they were already about 3 feet tall when I bought them, now they're about 4 feet. I want to transplant them to different areas of my yard. (I need to dig them up soon because I'm building garden boxes where my dahlias currently are.) I have heard that some dahlias are annuals, some are perrenials, some are from seeds, some are from bulbs. How do I determine what kind of dahlias I have and how to transplant them? By the way, I have learned my lesson ... no more spontaneous plant buys without first researching!! :)
