I didn't find anyone dahlia lovers to visit. :( I talked to one cut flower grower who said the climate doesn't really suit them. Too hot and dry much of the time.

Did you ever have luck?? I am trying dahlia smarties...it's a little early so I am being impatient but dying to see them! I've had one bloom already though. Hoping they do grow well and the heat and sun doesn't kill them, if so I'm sure I'll still try next year again :)
