| I've heard of a couple of growers using it in divided tubers with no troubles. Peat moss often causes too much moisture loss, but haven't heard that with perlite. One oldtimer said he used perlite for a storage medium one year, but there was too much dust for him to continue. I remember thinking that the same could be said for peat or vermiculite...Don't remember what he uses now. |
