Newest Addition BLOOMED!!

Well here is one of the newest additions to my garden you all already know about, thought i would post a pic of it blooming though cause its always nice to see whats blooming. This is PINK STRIPES for those of you who havent seen it.... and for those of you who have just put up with me for a moment!

It took a while to get into the grove of blooming here, i think it was adjusting as the first couple blooms were not so big and low on stripes. But with patience, and alot of teeth grinding, this one finally opened, and every one after has gotten better and better.

Just Lovin it ( you can see it has some pollen missing too!!! Couldt help it had to use some!)

Well, I'll be... I've never seen a striped daylily. I like it! Thanks for the pic.

Love that daylily, Gerard. You and Nancy will have to compare pics -- I'm pretty sure she got that one, too. Or was it Ellie?

Nancy got that one. I re niged. I must say Gerards looks better than the earlier pic we saw, 3 or 4 months ago.

I think i may have to store some pollen in the fridge-freezer, cause the whites and yellows/oranges i want to use it on have a while to bloom yet.

But i must say im being very selective about how many pods i set.... i dont want to be overloaded with seed again this year. To much to deal with, and i have other CVs i want to cross with seedlings so i need to be careful not to get in over my head.
