You could probably move it now, but I would wait for cooler weather, especially since it has already been transplanted once.

To get anything useful, you will probably have to pollinate by hand. On some daylilies, pods might be set without doing it by hand (bee and other insects). Usually, pollen from one daylily is put on a different daylily in an attempt to get something better than the parents. If you only have one daylily and want to experiment, you can use the pollen to pollinate the same plant.
