Thank you all. Cody was cross examined.. There was one person that the DA called but she ( a teacher ) didn't actually see anything. While she was leaving court, she wished Jason's parents, " good luck". Go figure.. Out of 26 young folks that witnessed the attack, not one was called. We can still as My Melissa's says, chalk one up for the good guys....Ellie

That's really great Ellie, and thanks for the update. I hope the sentencing goes just as well as the trial. Sorry Cody had to go through the cross exmination. Did he take it ok? Poor guy :( As if he hasn't been through enough!!
Maybe it will make him feel a little better after this is all over (the trial part) & justice is served!!!

Ellie, kind of came in on the end but I hope all goes well for Cody...thank God the judge didn't believe the other guy trying to make him look like a bully. I'll remember your family in my prayers.

I'm sure he's glad that this is past and now he can concentrate on getting his life back. Hope all goes well for him in the future. I know that you feel better knowing the court date is behind everyone!

Ellie, thanks for the emails keeping me posted. This whole situation has had me all riled up. I just don't understand why folks today won't take the time to raise their kids right.....a job is more important? Shouldn't be! If the kid had the right upbringing this probably never would have happened. I am glad justice was served for everybody in the families sake.
