Eliminating invasive daylilies

I am sure that this will dissapointe all the dayliliy lovers in the world. I have a problem with invasive daylilies from the neighbors yard. They are the standard orange varitey. The produce enormous amounts of greenery and bloom with only one or two flowers. I find them to be a giant problem and I really just want to kill them. They find their way into my yard and overtake my other perinnals. I have tried to dig them out only to have them return over and over again and again. Is there any gardener out there that can suggest a surefire way of taming this beast? They travel from the neighbors yard under ground via tubers. Could I possibly put some sort of a divider in the ground between our yards? Please help. I think that they are pretty, just not in the location that they are in. HELP! Frustrated in Michigan.
