| I have several established daylilies. These lilies were not bought at a garden center but were brought in out of the wild. They begin blooming in May and the blooms only last until late June and then do not bloom again the rest of the season. I see everyone elses blooming all summer. They even have the same kind of lilies that I do. What is wrong? |

| You have the species variety of daylily, often referred to as "ditch lilies". They will rarely re-bloom. Many of the hybrid daylilies will rebloom through-out the summer. I have had some rebloom scapes that were killed by the first hard freeze in the week of December. |
