This is Bittersweet Destiny. It has a beautiful color but not a very good bud count for us.

Bandit Bay is new to the garden this year. It is a miniature that did very well for us.

Back Draft is a great grower and a hot orange color. It's one of my husband's favorites. I like it too, but I prefer mine a bit fancier.

Nan, thanks for posting Bandit Bay! I am always looking for small beauties!

    Peren.all, love your garden shots!

I am glad to see postings of the older varieties! I have several old noids that will stay in my garden. My list is long already and we are only on the "B"s !

I'm seeing some really appealing daylilies in the B section. Love seeing Blueberry Breakfast again. Reminds me to put it back on my list. Bandit Bay is a really nice bumblebee colored daylily and I'll be looking that one up.....My contribution is another take on Bittersweet Destiny. I've grown this one 3 times. The last time I chucked it during my one rust invasion year. It was not immune at all. I love it though and the color is like no other orange. It blends with everything. Maryl

Nice to see the picture of Black Fathom Depth! I just ordered it. There are so many nice ones but Beautiful Jealous Eyes and Bolero Eyes just made my 'must have' list. Marg

Here's a few of my favorite B's. I tried to pick ones not posted above, or not previously posted by me like Bali Water Color.

My favorite "B" daylily from last year was just posted above! But I'll add one more pic since it is a clump shot.

Nice pics, I will always grow Blue Eyed Butterfly. It is a fav!

Bonaza was my first gifted daylily that was not Stella, so it will stay for the memories of a sweet elderly lady.

Anyone have a pic of Black Falcon Ritual? I added it last Fall.

    One more B
Brocaded Gown, an old one. I grow it in a large pot and it does very well.

There are so many beautiful flowers on this post. It's such a shame that Australia is so limited, as most of these are unavailable unless I buy from overseas :(

Looking again at all the really lovely daylilies and spotted Blessings in a Backpack. That color combo is right up my alley and it also has some decent stats (plus being a dormant). Have never heard of the hybridizer (Schmith?) and don't see him/her on Charlottes hybridizers list. Anyone know about this one?.........Maryl

Nikki Schmith is a grower/hybridizer from Illinois. She is very active in region 2 of the American Hemerocallis Society. Check out her blog on agirlandhergarden.com

Thanks for the blog address and the enabling photo of Blessings in a Backpack. I've sent her an e-mail. You never know what new hybridizers you will encounter on this forum... Btw, do you know how colorfast BIAB is?.......Maryl

There are so many beautiful "B" daylilies already posted, and I will post some different ones.

And, of course, for red there is Bear Claws:

    {{gwi:2124811}}

As usual, I can't post them all because there are too many. Banded Beauty is really pretty, and Black Fathom Depths is a top ten favorite but that had already been posted. Cindy, I really like Bluegrass Music. I suspect Backdraft is especially eye catching in a clump, and I love orange anyway. So many beauties!
