 o
Princess Yazoo?

Has anyone every heard of a daylily called Princess Yazoo? Online searches shows a couple different "Yazoo" lilies, but no Princess Yazoo. Reason I ask is I found a film case with a couple seeds in the garage that had the Princess Yazoo label on it, and they look like pics I've seen of daylily seeds (although doing a real good impression of a raisin), but I don't even know if they would still be viable. They've been in this air-tight container in an un-insulated garage for I don't know how long (bought the place a little over a year ago, so . . .), so the odds of viability are probably not good, but I was gonna start 'em and see if anything happens since it won't hurt to try. Course I've never attempted Daylily seedlings before so it might be a real long-shot that anything sprouts.

Thanks,
Mike

There's 'Yazoo Royalty' but no Yazoo Princess or Princess Yazoo. I wonder if someone could have goofed on the title?

No idea, or I guess it could've been a hand-me-down from someone else who mis-identified 'em, but that's clearly the name written on the label. Eh well - I'll try starting these 7 seeds tonight and see what happens. Not expecting much but ya never know . . .
