Nate, what a pretty, bright flower to start the season. Sure hope to see more of yours pretty soon. I have been looking for scapes but nothing so far. Since we had 3 nights of temps in the 20's last week, none of ours are going to produce yet. We may be back down in the 30's in the next few days. It's been a strange year for winter here, spring may really arrive by the weekend. Avedon

Well how pretty! Mine are not nearly so far ahead as last year, and I am glad. Having a very early one like that is so neat...It pique's your interest in all of them. Nive bloom too.

Yeah, I agree that it's nice to have things blooming a touch later. DOUBLE DOWN's FFO was 8 days earlier last year, so it's not a huge change.

Other than this one, there are very few scapes emerging right now. So it really is far more EE than anything else I have.

I spoke too soon! Found four baby scapes this morning on three plants. Yay!

Excellent! Today I found my first scape ever on one of my seedlings (a 2011 cross, BOLD MOVE x THIN MAN). Pretty soon we'll have scapes everywhere.

What a little early jewel! We'll be looking for more of your daylily photos, Nate! I barely have fans, much less scapes. I just started cleaning up my gardens today and noticed my old fashioned bleeding hearts are starting to bloom, along with some late yellow daffodils.
