Advice requested.

I have received daylilies seeds from a friend in Canada.I am going away on a visit for two months, Should I sow the seeds immediately or on my return in September. We normaly sow our spring annuals in September. Should I leave them in refregerator?

That is a tough call Arif. If you have someone to keep them watered, I'd sow them immediately...many seeds to a large pot and set pot is a saucer of water. I think this time of year seeds want to sprout, but If seedlings dry out they will die. Perhaps your best bet would be to plant half and refrigerate half. Enjoy you visit. Susan

I would leave them until September. Since that is usually when you sow annuals anyways it seems to make the most sense to me. I would leave your seeds refrigerated.

I have enjoyed your seedling pics. Are you sure those are seedlings? I have never gotten anything that nice when I have bought seeds :-)
