The problem with poisonous plant lists and those who make them up and post them on the Internet or wherever is that many don't use correct Latin names for plants. Common names are confusing and vary regionally as well.

So many plants are called "lilies" that aren't botanically Lilium. Lily of the Valley (Convallaria majalis) isn't a true lily but it is toxic. People calling Callas lilies drives me crazy, they don't even resemble lilies. At least daylilies look similar....
