A few favorites have put out their first bloom today

Black Fathom Depths:

Mask of Time:

Red Eyed Fantasy:

Purple Maze:

Betty Ford:

Should have Citrix and maybe, Indigo Edge tomorrow. I've noticed a bit of thrip damage and some snail damage, so slug bait and spraying are on tap for evening when it cools off.

Black Fathom Depths:. its a beauty.My Betty Ford is not blooming yet, but has scapes and buds.

Those first blooms are looking good! I think Wheel of Time is my favorite. Most of mine still don't have scapes. I'm wondering if some are going to bloom at all this season.

Thanks, Debra, The cold weather put a dent into several of mine.

Jean, Wild Cherry roundup bloomed but did idid usual half open thing.

Oooo, NICE! I always like Purple Maze, but Black Fathom Depths is lookin' mighty good. I like Mask of Time too.

Good to see old favorites. Betty Ford is a great daylily. Mask of Time is actually a different daylily (an old Salter); this is, as Debra noted, Wheel of Time.

Looking good Kay.BLACK FATHOM DEPTHS is such a pretty bloom. I was quite surprised that BFD survived our winter here so I guess it is quite hardy in the north. RED EYED FANTASY is striking. Does it have that much white or is it more yellowy in person.
