how do I kill the critters eating my roots

I have several critters eating my daylily roots to where the plants are dwindling to nothing & dying.
I dug one up today & the roots have been eaten 80-90% mostly from the inside out. I know there are wire worms & cut worm & some kind of small beetle & some kind of centipede.

Anyone know how I can get rid of these daylily killers?

Spray castor oil mixed with a little Dawn and some water. That's all it takes. I actually buy a product from Garden's Alive that is for moles, but it repels the voles too. don't wait. they multiply incredibly fast. Good luck to you. (drug store vriety castor oil works just fine, by the way).
