Very pretty, love the color and edges. How big is it?

Very pretty first bloom! So exciting to see those first blooms, I know mine won't be TOO much longer. This afternoon I counted 7 plants with scapes just barely peeping out.

Thanks for looking. This is a wonderful plant in my garden. It has a lot of scapes, and the blooms are perfect. They are about 5 inches across, ikayd. Chris, I was hoping the season would start a little later, but nope...it is getting ready to really take off. Indigo Edge has a couple scapes, so maybe I'll get to see it. I broke off the only scape on the new plant last year...full of grace, that's me. I have had a lot of iris blooms, ans may post a few later. It was a good year. Looking forward to your blooms, Nancy.

What a pretty first bloom you have! I think my daylilies are going to be about a month late this year. I have a few scapes on new ones from the South, but I've only found scapes on two established daylilies so far. Usually everything has scapes by now and some are ready to bloom.
