Yellow Daylily better than Stella de'Oro for commercial use?

I'm more of a rose guy myself, but I was seeing if there are better choices for a yellow daylily than the norm in Stella de'Oro? I'm mainly looking for longest bloom period, but also drought tolerance. I was pretty set on Stella de'Oro for figured I would do research from those with experience first before making a choice. The other one I have seen is Happy Returns, but I prefer the deep yellow of Stella as it will be mixed with Salvia.

The daylily and salvia mix will go along the fence line and then the mixture of pink and red knockouts will be along the building forming a hedge. The pictures below are the building and what I had as a general idea of what I was going to do(substitute the yellow bush for the yellow daylily in the one pic).

I've had Stella and still have Happy Returns, so understand the difference in yellows. Happy Returns is more of a lemony yellow to my eyes while Stella is more gold. I wanted something in between the two colors. Today while browsing at a local nursery I found a warm medium golden yellow that suited me just right. The daylily is called Key Largo Moon and is part of a newish series of daylilies by well known hybridizer Ted Petit. Below is a link that I think will describe it better then I could. It's awfully pretty in person and has some ruffles that give it a more modern look. For those of us that look for such things Key Largo Moon is reported to be very rust resistant.......Maryl
